Phillip Island Penguin Parade

No Phillip Island holiday is complete without a visit to the Phillip Island Penguin Parade, Australia’s most popular natural wildlife attraction and winner of the Victorian Tourism Awards for Ecotourism. 

 Visit the world famous Penguin Parade on dusk and experience the penguins returning home for the evening as they emerge from the sea and waddle ashore to their sand dune burrows. This is a truly memorable natural wildlife experience.


There are multiple options here from the General Viewing stand, to the Penguins Plus option with a smaller viewing stand and aranger explaining everything you might need to know, to a Private Evening tour hike to a beach to experience the penguins up close with night vision glasses.


 


The Nobbies

The Nobbies Centre is named after its location- The Nobbies is the black, basalt headland formation at the end of the Summerland Peninsula, just three kilometres down the road from the Phillip Island Penguin Parade.


Arguably Victroia's best kep secret, the veiws from the Centre and boardwalks are breathtaking. Stroll along the boardwalks to the spectacular blowhole and watch for seals and dolphins frolicking in the water below. From the end of the walkways, you gain spectacular views along the entire south coast of Phillip Island and beyond.


Explore and discover the secrets of the incredible southern marine environment including seals, sharks and dolphins via interactive displays and cameras that allow you to zoom in and out on these marine creatures.

Entry is free to The Nobbies Centre, Australia’s newest marine attraction.


Please note: The Nobbies Centre and Nobbies area is closed prior to sunset each day to protect the native wildlife.


Koala Conservation Centre

No visit to Phillip Island is complete without meeting one of its most famous residents; the koala. The Koala Conservation Centre allows visitors to come 'face-to-face' with koalas in their natural habitat from treetop boardwalks and enjoy the colourful birdlife and true ‘Aussie’ atmosphere.


This centre is dedicated to koala research and conservation – your visit helps them protect Phillip Island's last remaining breeding population of Koalas.


Churchill Island

Step back in time to this historic island farm on your next Phillip Island holiday. This tiny Islannd of 57 hectares is now open to the public as an historic working farm that boasts significant natual and cultural values with worl-class wetlands, Churchill Island Marine National Park, ancient Moonah trees, heritage gardens and historic buildings.


Visitors of all ages will love meeting the farm animals inclduing Scottish Higland Cattle, Clydesdale horses and sheep dogs. Enjoy the animal nursery where children can feed and pat the young farm animals. Regular demonstrations of working sheepdogs, blacksmithing and other heritage activities will keep you entertained.


Enjoy a meal in the licensed Churchill Island café with spectacular bay views and take home some goodies form the Farm Shop too!


Wildlife Coast Cruises

Wildlife Coast Cruises offer a relaxing eco-cruise out to Seal Rock (one of Australia's largest seal colonies) to witnedd the Seals in their natural environment. The two hour cruise takes you through Westernport Bay along the coast of Phillip Island and lands you within metres of the seals with the onboard marine biologist providing plenty of information about the local area and wildlife.
